This lightweight interfacing is made of 100% polyester fiber and has a soft hand. It is resistant to wear, abrasion, water, and moisture. It can be used on knitwear and woven clothes. It features an excellent construction with needle-punched loops that ensures smoother sewing and will not distort or lose shape when sewn onto a garment. The base fabric, known as a non-woven material, has fibers dyed uniformly with no differences in shapes or sizes; this keeps colors bright and does not lose their shape after many washes. Fusing is the process of adhering two layers of fabric together by passing them through a press under heat and pressure. It is commonly used to interlock knit fabric, which provides stability and prevents stretching.
