Product Specification:
1040 is a low-shear, high-tensile strength polyester non-woven backing material. It features high tear strength and a good hand feel, especially suited for making topcoats. It is a light-to-heavy fusible fabric made of polyester and has a hardness of about 2.0-3.0 kg/cm² during the fusing process. With its lightweight, smooth, and soft hand feel, the interfacing can be used in multiple applications from clothing to home decor 1040 is an all-purpose non-woven backing with a soft handle and a pleasant sticky gum. Because of its excellent dimensional stability, it is well-suited as a backing for sewing garments.
